ground wires in the bellhousing

can anyone tell me how many there is suppose to be I have a 84 berlinetta with a 305 and auto trans. also is therer anywhere else I can put them because my brother was trying to help why I was gone and tightened all the bellhousing bolts without putting them on there and it is a pain to remove the bolt

If thier just grounds, put them on the chassis.

or an intake bolt if you have a stud sticking up enough to put another nut on.

no intake bolt I have headers installed and theres not enough room for another bolt. Will they be okay on the chasis??

They just need to be on a spot that gets a good ground, can be anywhere really. I mean if you must, just run a ground from somewhere else and put it where they all fit.

np on chasis. but you should have a braided copper cable connecting the engine to chasis as well.. if that's there ok.. otherwise maybe not because bat - is probably connected to the block. and block might be isolated from chasis via rubber mounts. but as long as there is some connection from block to chasis then there is no reason chassis Gnd is not as good..
