ive got a 90 v6 suto rite now the 3.1L and my friend is givin me a what he says is a 305 v8 he doesnt think its a larger one. but its out of his 67 chevy. will this work in my camaro? and also will my 700r4 tranny bolt up to it?

 

theres alot more to it than that.. but yes you will need a new trans. at the top of the page you will see a sticky that says v6-v8 swap there's losts of info in there. if you cant find what your looking for you WILL find it if you search for it.. hope this helps..
