88 350 into 87 GTA

Ok here is what is going on. I have a 87 GTA with no engine. It is other wise complete. It has the computer and harness. It has a digital dash.
And I have a 88 formy 350 that is my "parts car" with a good engine. This is the engine that is going into the GTA.
So I am already aware that the alt is on the other side along with the a/c . The gta will be a/c delete so no worries there. And some extra wire for the alt. But on the air intake system on the 87 gta I don't see a place for the maf that is on the 88. What do I do with it? Also will the sending units on the 88 engine work with the 87 and the digital dash. Any other problems that I will run into. I think it should be mostly a peice of cake.

Thanks brothern,
Conrad

For the MAF you can just use the snorkel setup for your 88. I am curious as to why your 87 is missing a MAF. The sending units should be the same. However I think you might need your old prom or ECM to make the digital dash work. This would depend on if the two dashboards accept the same signal.
