Moved the PCM to inside the car :)

After about 3 days of soldering, the computer is now inside the car, not mounted yet but saved a lot of room in the engine bay, still need to move the plugs between the AC in the engine however and put some wiring loom on it. Looks real nice now:

Picture of the custom intake setup. These were taken before I did the wiring clean up, its pretty cleaned up now, just need to pick up some wiring loom.

If your PCM was going to be in the same place as mine, that ws a sheesh load of splicing . I take it it all works. Also, If you just did a full a/c delets, there would be room

Yup, whole butt load, already ran the car, runs fine, gonna take datamaster to it tomorrow and make sure evertyhing is okay.

i thought the ecm was in the car under the passanger side dash
or is that only in carbd cars

Yea the ECM is, the PCM for a LT1 is in the engine bay on the F-bodies.

the thirdgen computer was called an ECM because it only controlled the engine. 4th gen computers are called PCM (powertrain control module) because they also control the transmission.
