87' z28 Horsepower Question

I have a 1987 z28 I just bought for $100 bucks and it has a seized up 305. I am going to convert the car over to a 350 carb. I wanted to know how much horsepower and torque my car can handle without tying the frame or anything like that. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
This is a t-top car.

It already has too much, even without a motor in it. Just rolling the chassis over uneven ground twists the whole body.

Subframe connectors are cheap and easy to install, and make a HUGE difference. I think I would speak for most on this board by telling you they shouldn't even be thought of as a "mod", but rather just installing something that the factory forgot to design in. They are absolutely essential for any form of performance usage; or even street use, for that matter.

Here here.

My car is not even T-top. It had the no-longer-running V6 when I got it. The symptom of a twisting chassis is cracks from the top door window rear corner. Mine had those when the car was dragged to my garage.

Before the V8 went in.

I've heard that hardtop cars are more prone to cracking in that location, and cracks in general then T-Tops cars, is there basis for that?
