LT1 PCM Programming 95Z28 Flash used
Ok Im going to be taking my PCM back to get programmed by a friend, but I need to know a few things first.
what is required to run the LT1 and what can I safely eliminate?
I have plans to delete the following or have already. Are there any in this list that I should consider using or should add to it?
EGR
AIR
VATS
A/C
I have also had it reprogrammed for my 3.73 gears and will have it adjusted for the B-body maf instead of the F-body (.25" difference to the smaller side for B-body)
TexasLT1 and/or Z28r1cer when talking about the VSS signal, it was suggested to reprogram the expected signal in the PCM to what the SGI-5 box and VSS from a 3rdgen would produce to give an accurate number, where in the PCM would I program that, just so I can give a heads up to my guy doing the programming. Also is there a calculation I can make or a hard number to use to start with .... the number 5 came up the last time it was discussed.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Your list looks good, I don't think there is much else you can get deleted.
For the speedo, there should be a Speedo Calibration tool that will allow you to use a different pulse rate. Can't really help you on the SGI, I don't know how much it steps it up
