is it a 305 or a 350?
my friend just bought an 84 camaro the guy told him theres a 350 in it but how can he tell ?
Take the heads off and measure the bore on one of the cylinders. If its a 4" bore its a 350, if its a 3.7something its a 305. Done and done. Or just get the casting # off it and find out on some website.

Gte the casting # off the block and look it up at www.mortec.com/castnum.htm The number you need is behind the driver's side head, on the bell housing flange.
