... are you using the long block and your manifold or are you going to use it as a carb'd 350?
I had a 350 HO long block that the Vortec heads were removed and aluminum corvette heads installed and the TPI setup. 'course it also had a TPIS LT1 cam installed too.

Your EGR wouldn't work because the aluminum heads don't have the cross-over passages. Otherwise, it will bolt in and should operate with minimal hassles (tuning the carb secondaries, 350 knock sensor and module, for instance).
The HO 350 Conversion Kit had a different chip (and computer), but most likely that won't be a problem.

About the EGR: If I were doing this, I'd bolt the EGR valve and solenoid on and just let them sit there. You shouldn't have any problems getting past Air Care Colorado.
Oh, upgrades to the exhaust highly recommended to let that baby breathe.
(FWIW, I have often considered putting that engine in my car.)

I did this swap last fall on my 305 TBI and it went pretty smooth. The motor should swap right in. However you might want to see if you have the right flywheel on the engine if you run a manual tranny.
Here is my website where I noted some snags we ran into.

Here are some things you'll have to do:
Passenger side A/C, smog pump bracket: you will have to drill a hole in the head if you want to keep your smog or AC bracket.
Oil filter adapter - You will need an adapter so you can screw on your oil filter - GM was dumb enough not to supply this part that 99% of people use and nobody can find - I had to go to an engine shop. It costed me $5.
I feel sorry for you if you have to worry about emissions. I don't so I abandoned about everything except for the tach wire on the engine harness (it used to have TBI injection).
I don't know if your stock carb will work - I bought a 670cfm Holley street avenger and it works pretty good.
