Take off Fuel Rails and injectors?

Hey everyone,

I was in the process of breaking down my LT1.
I got everything off except for the fuel rails and injectors.
I removed the four bolts on top that hold them down, but they still won't come up. I slid the littel retainers back that hold the injectors in place on the fuel rail, but it still won't budge.
Do I need to oil them up so that they'll slide out?

Thanks!

Get an open end wrench, 19MM or so, big enough that the open end will clear the OD of the base of the injector, but still a bit smaller than the body of the injector, slip it between the injector and intake, then pry up a little bit, they'll slip out.

The rail and injectors should come up together. You should even be able to grab each injector and give it a slight twist just enough to get them loosened. When reinstalling them, put a dab of petroleum jelly on the washers so they slide in easier and for coming out easier as well.

Yeah, I heard of people using lube to get them in.
I just wanted to make sure if I pulled them out with no lube, I wouldn't ruin them.

Thanks for the help, I got them off.
