New Engine

WASSUP GUYS. I'M KIND OF TIARD OF PULLING UP TO A LIGHT AND BEING DUSTED BY THESE NEWER CARS OUT THERE. SO, I HAVE DECIDED THAT I WANT TO DROP THIS IN MY 1991 CAMARO RS.

ANYWAY, YOU GUYS KNOW MORE THAT ME. WHEN YOU PUT A NEW ENGINE IN A CAR WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO DO/CHANGE/ADD TO THE CAR?

P.S. CANT GET THE CAPS OFF... DONT ASK

The Search button is your friend my man. There's load of info out there about these kinda swaps. I'll share some quick info tho.
If the 350's a carb, there's not much wiring to do, execpt take your old wiring out. Is your car a 5-speed or auto? Either way, just put your old flexplate/flywheel on the new engine, and hook up the fuel lines, and go. There's more, just do a search. Good luck!

NOPE, IT'S AUTO. I WAS JUST THINKING THAT I WOULD PROBABLY HAVE TO CHANGE THE TRANNY OUT AND THE TORQUE CONVERTER. I'LL LOOK AROUND.

The 700R4 you have now could probably take the power stock, but a good rebuild and higher torque converter should be in the plans down the road.

make sure you check stock from Jegs and dont call them, their reps can not spell. I had to go pick my motor up from the terminal (Yellow Freight) because they got the wrong phone, address and name on the order! 3 days of hassle, maybe check Summit and SDPC too.
