Car: 1989 Firebird

Engine: Custom 355 V8

Transmission: TH-350 with 3000 converter

Upper mounts

Im doing a 2.8 to 355 swap right now and the upper mounts dont line up. The one on the passenger side line up but the one on the drivers side is out by about an inch. I got the upper mounts from a junk yard and I heard that you need mounts that are specific for a thirdgen f body. Is this true??
