Iim gong to a vortec headed 350 and would like to hear opinions on the reman short blocks that orileys have, i can get one for under 800 and i have a core.
Keep in mind ill change the cam to lt4 and heads to vortec 906 or 062 from what they use.

Also, im not sure what application to ask for, I need flat top pistons and 2-piece rear main seal, two or four bolt, what trucks or vettes or something have these things

well if no ones used the orileys stuff what motor is a good application, a caprice? a late model truck? a 1970 nova?
