Smoked my 305 TPI in my '88 IROC Vert this week, I'm considering the AC Delco renanufactured 350 Z28 engine.
Anybody had any experience with these?
Any quality concerns?
Any (reasonable) upgrades I should make ie. cam etc. before dropping this motor in?

I haven't heard of anybody on the board that has used one. Most go for a new crate.

My brother got one of these for his '93 1500 last month http://www.rebuilt-auto-engines.com/...46&p_catid=111 . I believe he spent right at $1700 to get it to his garage door. So far he's very happy with it.
