I bought a 350 TPI and I cant get anything out of the key when i try to start it i hear a relay kick but car does not turn over or fuel pump does not prime. I do not think that it has vants. But im diein to drive it but it will not run...........HELP I just found this sight and i love it all the talk and help with stuff. I just put a set of 2001 10 spoke ss wheels on it tell me what you think.

The TPI came out of a 88 GTA with the 9th injector i think it has a mass air flow set up. Came out of an auto and i have a T-5 will there be a wire that should goto the trans that would cause not to start i dont know maybe the guy gave me the wroung CPU with the moter ????????Let me know Thanks Guys

I think we need some more info to help you out.

You took the L98 out of an 88 gta(harness and all?) and put it into a newer RS i assume.

Let me know if i am correct so far.

If you Rs is newer, it does have Vats, i had to bypass mine wiehn i put the 87 Lb9 in my 91 v6 car.

If you car is a 91 or 92, the harness will not just plug right in and work, trust me, i tried that. Give me some more info, i am sure i can help.
