2.8 to 5.7 swap

Car: 1988 Z28
Engine: 357 ci 472 hp at RWs
Transmission: 700r4
2.8 to 5.7 swap
GUYs help me out here. I dont have the time to look for a donor car as Black Z tells everyone to do with his link. Although he is very through. I need to find some v8 clam shells for the 5.7 and do I need to change the tranny cross member or move it as long as I use a 700r4. any tips will help.

The trans crossmember stays in the same place, no changes. Get the engine sie clamshells at a junkyard. I paid 20 bucks for them, the dealer wanted a 100 bucks. IF you have any other questions, PM me, I just did this swap this year.
