Engine: 90 Caprice 5.7

Transmission: 700R4 Auto

5.7 out of Caprice

I blew my 305 and im getting it back with a 350 out of a caprice on tuesday, but I heard somthing about a computer chip fooling my car into still thinking it has a 305? Is there some kind of chip I can get yo get the full or more performance out of this motor?

Covered about a million times. Do a

and you will find all you need. Typically you will need the knock sensor, injectors, and ECM PROM to make it run right.

Coulnd't have said it better. You will need what ljnowell along with chip work. I stree the chip work. You can keep the ECM you have now but you will need to burn your own. Off the shelf chips won't cut it.
