Im thinking im gunna go with the Lt1 with the t56... i was gonna get the lt4 upgrade kit but then i was told i could get more for my $$$ and just getting certain parts of the lt4 kit.. I want more acceleration. possibly a supercharger. anyone interested in messaging some ideas back and forth with me.. i dont know if i want to get a high mile lt1 and rebuild or just throw in a low mile lt1.. i dont know what to do.. im hoping for some guidence.. money is kind of an issue.. trying to spend as least as possible but still get a sweet ride... any help would be appretiated.. thnx wes.
the camshaft that activates the valves in the cylinder head. when you do a cam swap, you usually swap in a cam that opens the valves more and keeps them open for longer (higher lift, longer duration) and increases the power of the engine.

Get the LT1 installed with some boltons, install a nitrous kit rather than the cam swap, save the cam till you've got some good heads to install at the same time.

If you don't know what a cam swap is, you might want to do some searching on the board before you dive into an engine/tranny swap.
There is a lot to learn.
