4.3 v8?

A buddy of mine says you can pull lots of torque or lots of hp out of a small cubic inch motor with a bigger bore and bigger stroke. Is that true? If so has any one heard of a 4.3 v8 out a 94 caprice? Would it possibly be a good buildup?

You just contradicted yourself, a small cubic inch motor with a bigger bore and bigger stroke is no longer a small motor, you could put the 4.3 from a caprice in, its a small internal version of the LT1, no you wont ever make as much power mod for mod with the 4.3 vs 5.7 gen 2, if you are looking to build something different, yet still fast, put the crank from the 4.3 into a 5.7 block, voila 302 5.0 liter, small stroke large bore, easy rev's, the intake to match it.

Better than just about every other "305" buildup around here.
