has anyone used the hotrodlane mount plates with regular chevy motor mounts?...

i saw the set for $140 cromed...

 

I have asked the same question in another forum, I was told that they do not work with the third gen because the oil pan location is so critical. since we have to move the mounts rearward a couple of inches so the pan will clear the stock cross memeber. If you have a tubular k-member with stock small block mounts they would probably work.
