89 305 engine compatible with older vehicles
will a 305 from a 89 camaro bolt up ok in a 79 chevy pickup. I cant think of a reason why it wouldnt work but wanted to make sure before I jumped into the swap.

The "issues" involved are the same as going the other way (inversed, of course).
