estimated hp rating on a stealth ram vortec 350?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if any of you guys have any hp ratings on the new vortec stealth ram setup that just came out? I heard about it like 3 or 4 months ago and havent heard anything since. Im almost done with my vortec tpi setup w/ the SDPC manifold, but ive heard alot of disapointing results w/ this set up. When everything is tuned at running efficiently with the set up I have now ill start setting my sights on the Stealth ram, but just wanted to see what you guys have heard or experienced with the Stealth ram w/ vortec heads. I heard one guy say that with the stealth ram and vortec heads stock you could get about 400 hp. Any insight on this?

The Stealth Ram (formerly the Street Ram, when it was for dual 4-barrels, a couple of decades ago) itself will flow about 425-450 HP, regardless of what heads you put under it. The limiting restriction is at the top of the runners where the new FI plenum they invented for it meets the runners.

So, 425-450 HP; same as any other heads that are big enough to where the intake becomes the bottleneck.

It'll run with the stock ecm burn, but yes; you need to burn some chips to get it to run anywhere close to its potential. Youll need bigger injectors, im not sure on what size, since im more of a carb guy, hopefully some of the tpi guys on here will chime in.
