Should work fine. This is an LG4, I assume? Only thing to watch is that the cam overlap isn't excessive so the O2 sensor doesn't get confused, primarily at idle/low engine speeds.
The 350 versions typically had a little more agressive timing curve. That can be overcome by giving it a little more base timing.

what happens if the o2 sensor gets confused? just makes it a rough idle and bad fuel mileage? or just puts of bad emissons?

Excessively rich, which is an emissions concern and can kill your cat.
When there's too much overlap, unburnt air/fuel passes straight to the exhaust. The O2 sensor sees the unreacted O2, and assumes the mixture is too lean - which, of course, it isn't, because there's unburnt fuel there, too, but it doesn't know that. The ECM richens the mixture to use up the O2, but that isn't why there's O2 there, so the excess fuel and unreacted O2 all get to the cat and light off there.
If the cam is a computer-compatible type, no problem.

will i took the cat off.. my car runs fine but the check engine light gets comming on (i understand why) it doesn't borther me, i just want it to run fine. the only reason i didn't just take every thing off and get ride of the comp. is that people told me the the transmission wouldn't run right because its computer opreated the lock up and blah blah blah. so i really dont care about emissions just want it to run right.(i dont't have testing).and have performance.do you know any tricks? or i am stuck where i am intell i get a th350 or 400? thanks agian.

Basic hot rod, adjustment, and tuning things are all that're needed. VIN code H exhaust has to go in its entirety. Same with air cleaner. Cam, induction, converter stall, and gearing have to work together.
I can't really complain about mid-14's capable with highway gears and too little stall, emissions-compatible and daily driver.
With the 305...

What would be your guess on a 260hp 350 and intake mild comp cam and full exhaust run? 15's? with a 2000 or 2500 stall. my goal is high 13's or low 13's. what would you suggest? Heads(305),cam,intake,lowstall,msd,and a low shot of nos (100) and q-jet carb w/ spacer is what my goal in april when i take my loan out for 3500. what do u think?14's?
thanks once agian/.
