V6 MPFI to V8 L98
V6 MPFI to V8 L98
Am I gonna need a new dash/guage cluster? I read that the Tach will be off about 20%, but the other guages will work fine. I have a 91, so will any 91-92 L98 Cluster Work? Or can I use a 5.0 TPI cluster? Are they the same?
Thanks.
Thanks.

It is only the tach that is different. You just need a V8-calibrated tach, doesn't matter whether LO3, LB9, or L98.

just take note if any gauge locations were changed, like from the 85 dash to the 88 for Firebirds.

Depends. In 1990 the Camaro switched over to the electronic dash. From 1982 to 1989 they were belt driven.
Firebird's had electronic dashes since 1986.
I see you have a 1991 car. So, you can use any v8 cluster from 1990 to 1992.
