Stupid question about LT1 wiring

I don't quite understand why everyone has such trouble with wiring in a LT1. If you have the whole engine harness, what is there left to wire? Gauges? Or am I missing something?

thats basically about it. the problem is, most people want the answers spoon fed to them. with the right wiring diagrams, it's quite simple to figure out what goes where.

OK, good. From some of the posts I got the impression it was like trying to wire the space shuttle or something.

no. there's seriously about 8 wires that you have to splice in depending on how you do it. granted, with the number of people on here that have done the swap it shouldn't be too difficult to get the information. I usually stay out of the wiring posts though because its been too long since I did the swap the remember what goes where. I just know all we did was get the wiring diagrams for both years and compare. quite simple.
