Torker 2 vs weiand 7547
The weiand 7547 single plane intake seems to be popular in this forum yet the edelbrock torker 2 gets a lot of bad press. To me the design of the two intakes appears almost identical in terms of runner layout (this is just from picture comparisons mind) and they are pretty much the same height. I don't intend to buy either, but this has been really bugging me. Why is the torker 2 so bad?
I just noticed this is in engine swap, I was sure I put in it general engine. Oh well, sorry

Its not that its that bad, because it isnt. The problem only comes up when someone takes a car that is completely stock, and puts one on "to gain top end." Single plane intakes are generally not beneficial to a setup that isnt high RPM, highly modified, mainly race application.
