Not necessarily. The '85 and '86 years had some "uniquenesses", but that doesn't make the swap up harder. You simply need to understand what the 350 is so you know what you may need to change that would otherwise fit from the '85 or '86.
In some ways, it's harder to go from '87-later to '85-earlier, which most 350's seem to be. But, again, it's mostly a matter of knowing what you've got.
