Just got my LS1

I just got a LS1 and 4l60e for my 92 RS, the motor has 88,000 miles and came out of an 99 TA!

Believe it or not this TA still runs and drives!!!

Stock wiring harnes yes and the fuels system out of the car that the motor and tranny are coming out of!

can I just put the LS1 in the car without the AC and shorter belt?
And will the LS1 radiator go in the the third gen with using the stuff from the third gen!

You should be able to find your answer with a few searches here on TGO. Most guys re-use their stock radiator.

The LS1 radiator will not fit with out some work and some custom brackets to hold it in. The a/c compressor is on a different belt off of the crank all together, so just removed the compressor and the compressor belt and you use the stock other belt and are good to go.

I'd like to hear more about rust bullet as I'm planning on coating my whole chasis with it.

Did you brush on or spary on? Is the silver stuff the rust bullet or does it dry more white?

Nice setup by the way...and you are pretty good at what you do as I would have been scared of the sunroof and less so the floor.
