Using Factory Console
Just curious if I could use the original 5-speed console to do a ls1-t56 swap? The few cars that I have seen with this swap have a 4th gen center console. Thanks

Yes, I am running a T-56 w/ stock console and shift plate. I did use and aftermarket shifter, so the shift **** touches the plate in 2, 4 & 6 gears but other than that, no problems.
