car runs for 5 sec ten shuts down
I just got done with the lt1 swap and know it only will stay running for 5 sec. then shuts down i installed the bypass for the vats and it does the same thing. i talked to the guy that did the harness and he said to just hook up the vats wire to the existing vats wire i did that and it did the same thing. i turn the key and the fuel pump kicks on the cuts off after 5 secs. turn the key to start and it runs for 5 sec then shuts off????????? shouldnt the pump run all the time while in run? I am lost on this one can you help me out on this one. its hard. i thought that the vats bypass would have worked. well it is because if i disconect it it dont start at all. the wire i have it hooke to is the black and yellow on by the drivers kick panel it is hooked to a relay of some kind. that what my wiring shows the the passkey signal comes from. is there some were else this vats need to go?

Sounds like all that's hooked up is the timed "start" fuel pump relay.
You also need a circuit that goes through the oil pressure switch.
