350tpi
Im new to tpi systems and hope i could get some info. Right now I have a 1970 350 4 bolt main engine in my 67 c10, with a nv3500 out the back. I came across a 1989 350 tpi out of a pontiac formula. Couple questions, 1st... will the engine bolt up to my tranny, 2nd if not would i be able to bolt on the tpi to my block? And are the pontiac and the camaros in that year using the same blocks? Hopefully someone can help me out.
Thanks

1. Yes.
2. Yes, with some modifications to the center intake bolt holes. But the later heads are likely better anyway.
3. Open the hood of that Pontiac and observe the Chevy engine. PMD didn't make anything but 4-cylinders after about 1981 or so.

The TPI intake will have to be modified in order to fit on the engine. I think that the center bolt holes has to be drilled.
Can remember how they have to be drilled.
Another problem that you may have, is that the cam in the engine may not be compatable with the TPI system.
Engines are the same. Chevy small block.
