305 head questions...

305 head questions...
i am swaping a carbed L98 into my berlinetta. i finally got started on it tonight and i found out that the heads on the L98 are not the original ones. they are the sucky ones from way back in the day i think... the code on them is 462. so what i am asking, does the 305 berlinetta motor have the same heads as any other camaro 305? with the 1.85 intake valve??? plz help quick. my car is torn apart and highschool nationals is only a week or so away. ty. oh and by the way the engine in it is a LG4 if that helps

LG4 is basically an LG4 as far as the heads are concerned.
About the only benefit from unmodified 416 castings is the reduced chamber size for increased compression. They really need work to work their best on a 350.
How did you mount your accessories with the 462 heads?

i never did mount anything on the motor. but for right now the compression is all im going for until i get some money together to buy a nice set of heads
