Good Deal?

Would this be a good idea to buy?
I've been thinking of getting a short block and putting vortec heads on it, etc. I really have no engine building experiance, so I figured that buyign this might be a bit easier. Is this worth the price? Would I need to change my PROM from the stock TPI 305 prom? If so how do I know how to tune it. I'm a real rookie, and I could use some help

I never have heard what they used for their "stock PROM", but I suspect it was MAF, not SD like yours. Don't forget the "ups" and "extras" needed to complete the package.
If I was considering Vortec TPI and a new engine, however, that is definately the package I'd start with.
