Quick dumb question, what is the difference between a short block and a long block?

Axle/Gears: 3.70
Short block refers to the block without heads plus internals.
Long block usually includes internals, heads and oil pan. Sometimes longblock will have additional items it just depends on where you get it from ie..timing cover, flywheel, balancer.
Turnkey usually adds intake, carb, distributor, waterpump, plugs/wires maybe a little more...
