ZZ4 crate?
I like this motor, but am wondering how much, and what part numbers to make fuel injected?
Costs? Part numbers please?
and anything that I might need to know or consider.

Part numbers to make it fuel injected? That depends upon what fuel injection system you intend to put on. And whether or not it needs to be emissions-compatible.

There weren't any FI models offered in '84. Therefore, the only "legal" FI swap will be '85-later types.
Forget part numbers. Your best bet would be to get a complete TPI system somebody has removed and is selling. The later speed density systems are more adaptable to higher power. Of course, any TPI system would require extensive modification to support a ZZ4 properly - base, runners replaced, most likely, plenum ported, 52mm throttle body, PROM tuning. To be truely legal, you'd have to model it after a Corvette TPI system, since the '86-1/2 up models had aluminum heads without the exhaust crossover (just like the ZZ4) that feeds the EGR valve. Vettes had an external tube to provide that function.
FWIW, I have a bud who did a ZZ4 TPI swap, did pretty much what I detailed above.

I am doin a FI swap (TBI to TPI) and its the little parts that nickle and dime your a$$ to death. Especially the EGR and emmisions stuff (here in Kalifornia, they better be complete). If you dont have a donor car with all the necessary stuff (think lots of hoses, lots of sensors, lots of little parts that you need that dont make you go faster, the parts people neglect to tell you about on the boards), it will be more expensive than you think.

There isn't any reason why you couldn't use your current carb setup. Assuming it hasn't been hacked up, the computer controlled carb will work fine on a ZZ4. With headers and full exhaust exchange, 350 knock sensor and module, and secondary rods & hangers, maybe a higher stall converter, it'll be a bang-up setup.
