Golen, worth it

Hey guys I posted a thread a bit back about the 510 Hp motor from Unlimitedproformance.com. They are kinda far from me, and the website looks a bit sketchy. So i decided to look for a more local place.

Golen is close to me, enough. What do you guys think of their 500 Hp motor. Is it worth the price??? I am looking for 100% turn Key. Tell me what you guys think

If anyone knows a place neer Boston, that is better, please fill me in. I am really trying to keep the price down, more like 6,500 instead of 7+ grand. I know I need to spend a lot to get that kinda power, but still want to feel like I ma getting somewhat of a deal.

Also is it true that 500 HP is the limit one should run on a cast crank?

One more thing. If I wanna save money now, is it possible to have a motor built that can take a good amount of PSI from a blower and not buy the blower yet. Like run it around blowerless for a bit? And then get the blower, so I can make it up to 500+ HP??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
THX

will def do that. From the sound of their name, they must be able to machine things. like my backing plates for my rear brakes, to fit on my 12 bolt. Thanks for all the contacts guys. Now I have many different places to help compare/lower the price of my dream 500 HP 383.

When I went to Custom, they seemed to really specialize in engines, although I'm sure they'd be able to cut you a few brackets. I was impressed with their turnaround time and their attitude/customer service.

Depending on what figures ya give me, within this month ill be driving out to DC for a weekend. If we get a motor squared away by than, ill deliver it for free of charge. PM me what kinda budget your looking for and what kinda power ya wanna make, and ill run some numbers. I have a seasoned 350 4 bolt in the shop righ tnow actually, i just pulled it outta the tank and its perfect, no core shift what so ever.

Im coming up with 6300 right now, for 500 hp N/A turn key 383 minus valve covers and timing cover. including carb to oil pan. Contact me for details. Assembled by myself a master certified ASE tech.

everything from flexplate to harmonic balancer, with your choice of ARP studs or bolts. or main stud or bolts.
