hey guys i have a 86 trans am with a 305 tpi, i have a brand new 350 tbi motor for it. i want to keep the tuned port setup though. i did a 305 tbi to a 350 swap before and changed injectors, knock sensor, spark module, and i had to get a chip. what all would i need for putting the 350 tbi motor in the 305tpi car?

 

350 TBI heads are pretty terrible. You'd be better off with your current 305 heads with 1.94" intake valves on the 350 shortblock.

What you should have are 22lb injectors and a 350 knock sensor and module. An L98 chip wouldn't hurt, either, but the 305 chip would probably handle it.

 

alright i pretty much knew all that had to change just double checking on the injectors. so i could go and get injectors for a 350tpi and use them or the 22lb injectors?
