will auto lt1 harness work with t56
I did a lt1 t56 swap about two years ago. I just had an explosion folled by a small fire under the hood. It completely trashes the wiring harness. Will a harness from auto car work with a n ecm designed for a manual trans without too much trouble. As far a I can figue the only connectors that wont be on it are for the backup lights and the reverse lockout servo. Anyone have any thoughts or has onyone done this?

The auto harness will have the TCC lockup and shift wire, the plugs you will be missing is the reverse lockup (a definate need) backup lights and the skipshift, without these plugged in you will probably get some codes thrown in the PCM unless you have them programmed out. Best thing if you can find it is buy a 6-speed harness to replace it with. Give Scott a call at Tennessee Auto at 1-800-884-7501, I know he has a 6-speed harness from an LT1 there.
