aldl connecter hook up for 96 lt1
hi all just wanted to share some info about on hooking up your aldl port to a 96 lt1.
(2 purple) - output field service enable - this comes off of the c230 connecter
(4 black) - this is a ground - i spliced this wire with (5 black/wht)
(6 wht/black) - diagnostic request signal - this also comes off of the c230 connecter
(9 tan) - serial data signal - this comes off of c105 connecter
(16 orange) - ignition - this is connected to ignition when the key is turned on. (i connected it to the fuse box)
i just ran wire to the aldl from all the connecter
hope this info helps.

Same hookup with the OBDII connector on a '95 with OBDI but the cables will only use serial data, power, and the two grounds, it's pins 4, 5, 9, and 16. Most of the cables (from AKM that I've seen) don't have the provision for the number 2 pin.
