I have an 87 T/A with V-belts I'm having trouble getting the A/c brackets to line up. I've already ground down the brackets enough to get the pulleys to line up. But on the top bracket that bolts to the intake, the bolts holes on the a/c comp won't line up with the slide adjustment on the bracket. If I elongate the holes where it bolts to the head and intake it would probably work. But this just seems like a crappy way to do this. Has anyone run into this. It seems like the exhaust ports on the Trick Flows are in a slightly different location. The reason I say this is because one of the a/c brackets bolt to the first exhaust port and I did some grinding on that bracket to get the pulleys to line up. Any help would be great.

Thanks
Frank

I'm kind of tempted to ditch the A/C on this car too but I'll have to find another non a/c heater box. I sold the one out of my 84 to help buy parts for this project
