looks pretty good! Are you going to try and clean up the engine bay. Why is the a chain holding down that engine? How does it perform?

Yes, we definately gonna clean up the engine bay and yes the chain is to limit engine movement we figured out that we´ll need some tougher suspension (ladder bars, shocks etc) to get better traction but generally it is a street/strip project.

you don't need to go to ladder bars to get the thing to hook. put some relocation brackets on the rear end where the lower control arms mount. spohn sells them. check it out under the suspension section at www.spohn.net also, box those lower control arms in. maybe put some poly bushings on everything back there. just trying to save you some time and money and aggrivation. i've cut 1.75 60's on this setup, my father has gone 1.66 and i know plenty of people in the 1.5 60' range.
about the chain. i would either put some solid motor mounts in and do away with the chain entirely, or move the chain from where it's at. that bolt will rip right through the thin metal of the inner fender well. i'd put it down on the frame rail up front.

i'm running a M/T ET Street Radial. it's been the best tires i've ever used. some claim they are better than regular slicks. i've seen people go deep into the 7's at 180+mph on these tires. if your going to go to a regular slick, a M/T ET Drag in the 28x10.5 size would do you just fine.

The up-and-coming slick seems to be the Hoosiers. I'm into my 3rd season on a set of Quicktime Pro DOT's. I haven't talked to anyone who didn't like them.
Right after that are the MT ET Street Radials. If you need DOT tires that you want to run on the street, that would be my call.

The other day I was thinking of another weak link that should be fixed. Ever notice what your wheel bearings are caged in?

Man I wish I could afford to finsh my swap, your car
