swapping out need help

Wow its been a long time since i've been on here.. I have my o so sexy looking red sport coupe with the not so loveable 305. I would like to swap this out for the motor thats in my s-10. The motor is a 355 sbc with speedpro slugs comp cam and a few other goodies. The trans is a TCI Street fighter TH350 with a 3000 stall. What all will i need? I know headers torque arm mount shifter and stuff like that. What about wiring? im going from tbi to carb im gonna use my msd set up from the truck also. Will I be able to use stock gauges and all that good stuff too? My eddy RPM and 600 holley wont clear my hood will it? im ok with engine swaps just trying to get an idea what will be needed for this one

If you can get a shop manual then you will be able to identify the wires for the water temp, oil, etc and remove everything else from the harness. This will make for a very clean installation. Your nsd should transfer over without a problem. The trans will be a little tricky as far as the drive and driven gear for the speedo. You are going to have to play with that setup to get the speedo close. Everything else should be good to go.
