Yep, you do.

Search on this forum. It was discussed this past summer in depth, even had p/n's. As I'm understanding it, similar parts were used on trucks & vans as well as passenger cars.

chevy v8 engines, big or small

on some of the brackets there is a difference int the distance from the through-bolt hole to the engine block

some are taller than others

i have run into this problem a few times

compare brackets side to side

make sure they are not a hair taller/shorter than each other

if youve seen different ones enough times then you can pretyt much spot the difference with your eye
pretty close

its enough difference to mess you up when you try to put the through-bolt in through the bracket and mount

most ppl think/believe they were all identical, but nope, some are a hair different, and some use a spacer plate between the block and the bracket too,

triangle shape like the bracket, three holes,

good luck

IMO, DO NOT use solid mounts (from experience). I put them on when I did my LT1 swap. I thought they were cool at first, but eventually you will get sick of them. The car will slowly develop small vibrations and interior noises. I am swapping them out for some poly ones this winter.
