217 Cast Heads?

Was talking with a rebuilt engine store and they said the 217 casting heads were the same as the 083's

I did some searches on here, but didnt turn up much info...

Anyone able to verify or elaborate?

Engine: 305 TPI

Transmission: 4L60

Axle/Gears: 14 bolt with 3.07 gears

IIRC, the 217s are what GM used on the 300 HP 350 crate engine of the 90s. They are virtually identical to the 083s.
