3.1L to 3.8 L Turbo
I've been kicking around the idea of replacing my 3.1L V6 with a 3.8 L Turbo V6, more horsepower and torque. I personally dont want to change the engine to a V8 i just think it would be easier if i do this. Shoot out your personnal opinion about this switch and any experience about the 3.8 L Turbo V6 engine. thanks

Nothing new. Been in the FAQ section on the TGO homepage since I've been around here. https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/faq/thirdgen.shtml , about a fifth of the way down the page.

how would a V8 be easier. Wouldnt you have to change the mounts and all that stuff were you would just have to drope the v6 in if the car is already set up for a v6? in not a gear head so help me out here guys

The 3rd gen V6 (60 degree) and the 3.8 turbo V6 (90 degree) are completely different engines (with the exception of the Turbo TA's, of course). Nothing is the same between the two with regard to mounting them up or getting them running.
