Ramjet Engine

I want to swap a Ramjet Crate Engine into my 1992 Camaro RS that was TBI. I can't find any info. Does anybody have experince with the Ramjet? What would be involved to get the engine running, how would the engine wiring interface with the dash wiring( speedo, tach, oil, amps, ect. How about keeping the A/C ? Any info would be great !!!!

Ok this is super easy. You will need to get a high pressure fuel pump and swap it in your tank. Holley or walbro will work or factorty TPI pump but I wouldn't suggest factory. All of your accesories will bolt onto the engine and before you pull it out you can take off the brackets with the power steering pump and AC and zip tie them out of the way without disconnecting them. Your speedo runs off your tranny so if you are leaving that alone don't worry about it, all of your stock gauge sensors will fit the ramjet and so there is no wiring modification nessary for them to work. The Ramjet comes with its own standalone system and is a quick hookup. Read the manual, power, grounds ect..... easy to figure out how to hook it up. You will need to make fuel lines from the disconnect on the factory lines at the drives side frame rail to the ramjet. You will have to buy adapters for the GM lines to work with AN lines( Accel makes them, summit and jegs carry them) you will need to hookup the Ramjet (this is super easy). It is the same as swapping in a replacement engine with the addition of a fuel pump swap, some fuel lines and hooking up four wires. It is up to you if you want to zip tie your factory TBI harness up in the fender or rip it out of the car. I have to start doing these swaps for money LOL, live near Texas? Hope this helps

No, I don't need to pass emissions. The speedo works off the tranny.... I thought that in TBI cars the speedo works throught the VSS Buffer, if I disable the buffer then I'll have no speedo, just as when you swap TBI to TPI the speedo won't work unless you cut and splice two wires together, cause TPI doesn't use a VSS Buffer, the ECM handles that directly. No VSS Buffer, no speedo. How would the speedo be operated with the Ramjet. Unless you have a cable driven speedo, but mine is electical.
