I have a 88 gta which had a 350 which blew up. I picked up a cheap 305 tpi to install for know. The 305 is an early one with the older heads without center valve cover bolts. I installed the distributor from the 350 in the 305 so it would work in car. The car now only starts for about 3 seconds then stalls. Ive changed the computer to a 305tpi comp. and I checked the wiring and fuel pressure, all good. Im getting ready to install a carb on it just so I can get it running. Does anyone know what it can be, maybe the security sys, or injectors. The car ran when I took the old engine out. Any info. really appreciated. thanks
