Do you have a 10-year-old in the household with skinny but long forearms???
15mm u-joint socket (may have to put electrical tape around it to keep it from flopping), extension, ratchet. Lots of time, hand cleaner, and an extra heaping portion of patience.

Passanger on the other hand is a different story.
I could get all but the top front bolt, and after fighting with it almost all day I said screw it, but the bolts back in and will take it to a shop later and let them deal with it.
Oh and did I metion the engine and trans are out as well? I was tempted to drop the LCA, but one of those bolts were frozen in the bushing. Also gonna have a shop replce those with Poly ones in the back seat.
So the 383 I just finished building and fresh trans (yes I rebuilt that too) are going back in tomarrow, along with the 2055 hookers so I can take it to an exhaust shop to have the cat back put on.
And before you ask, if you can do the engine and trans build up but cannot put on a cat back?
I got the magnaflow for the early 4th gen that requires tube extensions along with the cat delete I am doing as well. And would rather have it done on a lift and only pay like $35 bucks... Supreme Member

If you can't get them out any other way, pop the lower balljoint loose and drop the whole crossmember out. With the car on jackstands should take about 20 minutes. The mounts are easy to remove with it out of the car.

you forgot the 12 pack of bud 5-7...it helps. it can be done. When you mount the v-8 mounts use the front most holes only using 2 bolts. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...t-removal.html
