SBC 400 to 87 iroc
I want to install a 400 sbc in my iroc but i want to use my stock tpi setup. it looks like i may need to use my heads off the 5.7L but that will raise the compression ratio a bit, and if the accessory belts will be year correct for that year? and will the oil cooler will bolt up? i have the moates pocket programmer. and lastly is it worth it? i want it to look like a stock 350 (sleeper) under the hood.

If the 400 has dished pistons, the 64cc L98 heads would keep compression reasonable.
A 350 taxes the flow capability of TPI, a 400 will just make it that much worse. But, it should have a little more torque/power.
