Descent crate motor?
I have an '86 TA with the limp 305/140hp. It only has 100K miles on the driveline, but the cost of building any descent power out of the leaking, straining motor is just too much to stomach. The prices for NEW turn-key engines are kinda steep, but Phoenix Engine Rebuilders out of AZ offers several REBUILT engines closer to my price range. My question is, has anybody heard about them? I'm seriously considering their 355 and 375hp motors as options, but first I'd like to know if anyone has used their engines and how good a product they are.
(Also have an '85 2.8L 'bird I'm parting out/cannibalizing if anyone needs something...)

Try searching the Aftermarket Vendors forum.
They sound familiar.
