Lock-up issues
Halfway through changing my IROC from TPI to a big-*** Holley, I realized that I won't have the computer to control the lock-up function of the converter (700R). Can I still run without the lock-up, or will I blow the tranny? Painless makes that nice kit, but I'm a little strapped for cash right now...

You can wire it up with a toggle switch to lock it manually. There are also various ways to accomplish it automatically with or without dropping the pan, and without buying the whole kit.
